Update

Croq returned to winning ways last night at Bath. He was back in the grade he last won at but more importantly he had his ground. Liam gave him a peach. My passing words were you can lose the race if you go too quick but not otherwise and he followed that to the letter. The horse stays a mile easily and is game as anything. My heart sank as we turned up at the track and the first box I saw was that of Tim Vaughans, the saying goes, the first box you see is a winner! Fortunately I saw it in my rear view mirror!!!

Mingun ran a fair race considering he gave away about 5 lengths at the start! Hopefully he will get a couple of lbs which he probably needs!

We are off to Ireland tomorrow with Springinmystep and Fish. I will most likely be stopping an hour up the road and putting Fish into the box that is following me up there as he is very unlikely to get in. I would love for him to get in as I think it is the perfect race for him. Spring was an after thought but on reflection we have decided to let him have a crack irrespective of Fish getting in.

Nani should go to Salisbury on Sunday providing the rain stays away.
