Unfortunately Fish didn't get in at the Curragh so he was turfed out of the lorry half way up to Holyhead! Spring was slightly disappointing although I didn't hold out much hope especially with the draw he had.
We got home at 6am Sunday and loaded up a few hours later to head to Salisbury with Nani who made all our efforts worthwhile. He missed the break but they went so hard that it played into our hands. He will probably go to Bath with Croquembouche on Tuesday.
Men don't cry ran a cracker at Wolves and a fair enough run at Nottingham. He will go to either Wolves or Lingfield next week. Surely he will have his day at some point!
Mahadee ran very well at Windsor. Treaders gave him a nice ride and as long as he keeps running like that he too may nick one again.
Break Rank broke his duck at Epsom. Jamie gave him a peach. I think 1m 2f and cut in the ground would be ideal for him. If the weather continues we will probably find one on the all weather in the meantime.
Naabegha is a bit of a head scratcher at the moment. He had a poor draw at Sandown but that wasn't an excuse. He has stopped a couple of times a bit too quickly. He doesn't bleed, his heart is ok as is his wind, so I am not sure. Maybe a step up in trip is what we need!
Rosie took a step forward at Southwell. The race was not ideal for her with so many front runners and courses specialists in it. The race, particularly as she was slow away was not run to suit, but having said that she had a great attitude through the race and battled on to the line. I think a mile would suit her. She may well go to Chepstow at the end of the month.
Rye tangle gave Liam a shocker. He just would not settle and consequently didnt stay.
King goes to York tomorrow in a listed race. Fish and Diamondhead will probably go to Ayr on Monday. The yorkie bars are ready!!!
